Hayfever or Allergic Rhinitis is a common condition and is thought to affect up to  20 percent of the population in the UK.

Symptoms range from mild to more severe with people sensitive to a range of grass, flower, and tree pollen. Over-the-counter treatments and advice are available from a pharmacy and GP in the form of antihistamines and nasal sprays.

If your symptoms are still present despite this and affecting your quality of life, we can help manage hayfever and control your symptoms by using an injectable corticosteroid.

 

It is usually administered as a small injection in the upper outer quadrant of the buttock by our doctor. Symptoms are usually controlled for 4-8 weeks.
